We have an exciting new opportunity for an Account Manager. This role blends client relationship management, business development, estimating, and operational coordination. You’ll serve as a trusted advisor to our customers while helping ensure their properties are maintained to the highest standards. You'll work closely with our production teams, identify growth opportunities, and help create an exceptional customer experience from first interaction through long-term partnership.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships by serving as the primary point of contact for maintenance customers, proactively addressing questions, concerns, and service needs while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

  • Develop maintenance, enhancement, and landscape estimates for new and existing clients, follow up on company-generated and self-generated leads, conduct onsite consultations, and identify opportunities to expand services and grow recurring maintenance revenue.

  • Conduct property inspections, document findings, and collaborate with production teams to ensure work is completed efficiently, meets quality standards, and aligns with client expectations while driving continuous improvement.

  • Support business growth by cultivating referral partnerships, executing outreach efforts, maintaining accurate records and management systems, and ensuring smooth communication and handoff between Sales and Production teams.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITY

  • KNOWLEDGE: Consistent work history with a minimum of 3 years of experience in sales or account management. At least 2 years experience in the lawn/landscape industry is highly preferred. Applicator License preferred but not required; company support provided to obtain licensing.
  • SKILLS: Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proven track record of achieving or exceeding revenue and growth targets. Proficiency with CRM systems, spreadsheets, word processing, and estimating software. Ability to adapt to a dynamic environment and thrive under pressure through a commitment to excellence.
  • ABILITY: This role is onsite and requires reporting to our office in Waterloo, NE. A valid driver’s license and the ability to pass a felony/misdemeanor background and driving (Motor Vehicle Record) check. Must be able to help with snow removal during the winter months.

In this role, a company vehicle and company cell phone will be provided.
