We have an exciting new opportunity for a dynamic and results-driven Sales Director. In this pivotal role, you will execute the company’s vision, and oversee marketing, sales, design, and estimating. This position requires strong leadership skills and the ability to coordinate major functions, including sales, marketing, operations, and finance. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • TEAM LEADERSHIP: Mentor and lead our three Outside Sales Design / Estimators, Content Marketing Manager, and Account Manager. Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment. Develop and implement strategic plans that align with company goals and objectives. Act as a conduit between the leadership team and staff, ensuring clear and effective communication across all levels.
  • DRIVE MARKETING & LEADS GOALS: Oversee the design, execution, and optimization of marketing collateral, determining effective channels to meet lead generation goals. Analyze lead quality and conversion rates, provide training to improve sales outcomes, and ensure strategies are in place to meet targets consistently. Continuously evaluate lead sources and implement strategies to drive consistent lead growth.
  • SALES OVERSIGHT: Ensure all processes align with the company’s goals and strategic objectives. Hire, train, and develop new sales and marketing team members. Monitor key performance indicators to ensure daily activities align with long-term objectives. Run design appointments as needed to ensure timely response to leads and prospective customers.
  • ISSUE RESOLUTION: Identify and resolve operational issues promptly, fostering a proactive problem-solving culture. Remain adaptable and seek out opportunities for improvement and innovation within the organization.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITY

  • KNOWLEDGE: Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing, Horticulture, Construction, or a related field; or equivalent experience. Consistent work history with a minimum of 3 years in a management or leadership role, such as Director of Sales, Sales Manager, Marketing Manager, Sales Team Manager, or similar role preferably in the landscaping, construction, or service industry.
  • SKILLS: Proven ability to lead and motivate sales and marketing teams, with strong conflict resolution skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for engaging with clients, employees, and stakeholders. Familiarity with landscaping design software and project management tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to adapt to a dynamic environment and thrive under pressure through a commitment to excellence.
  • ABILITY: This role is onsite and requires reporting to our office in Waterloo, NE. A valid driver’s license and ability to pass a felony/misdemeanor background and driving (Motor Vehicle Record) check.
